SEX or MONEY?

After talking to a totally frickin radical friend the topic of sex and money was the highlight. So, the question that I had was...

If you had to choose between really amazing sex or unlimited money for the rest of your life. You can NEVER have both, which one would you choose?

The difference between a man and woman was pronounce in my conversation as we both had completely different ideas on the subject. I chose money and he chose sex. Go figure right? Diving deeper into the conversation the reasons behind it were absolutely amazing. While I felt as though I would be completely happy just shopping my life away, he wanted to know that he could be intimate with a woman, not just for the sexual climax but just for the simple pleasure of enjoying his woman. Needless to say, I was shocked. Now, of course I am walking away from the conversation feeling as though it was a bit biased because this totally frickin radical  friend is a male that is attractive and might just be attracted to me, but we're not gonna go there today. The fact remains that this gentleman preferred the comfort of a woman over money. When prying deeper into his reasoning, he said that if he chose unlimited money he would soon go out and seek the comfort of a woman to spend it on and share it with anyway. Wow! Is he serious?

As women we have been told here and there that all a man does in life he does for a woman. We all know this as woman but do we truly understand? There was also something that he said that gave me the other clue. He said that he wanted to know that he could be intimate with a woman, not just for the sexual climax. Again, WOW! His greatest desire wasn't pleasing himself but to enjoy the woman he is with and to please her. Many things were revealed in this statement. A true Man's motive in relation to women are about her being happy and satisfied with him. A woman is much more important to him than money. A woman is what drives him to be successful. Last but not least, he desires a woman more than anything else in the world. You might say, how do you know he desires the woman more than anything in the world? Well, money can get you anything in the world and he didn't choose money. OK, so you may say, he could get a woman with the money. This is also true, but once presented with an opportunity to have money only without the opportunity of having a woman the choice was still a woman.

Now that I've taken a moment to look back at my answer, I began to realize how selfish and self-centered my answer truly was. I know that most women would give the same answer as well and for an abundance of reasons (e.g. A man can't do for me what I can do for myself. All I need a man for is money so if I had my own I wouldn't need a man, blah, blah, blah and so much more) Trust me, I have heard it all, and I am also a victim of that type of thinking. I'm starting to believe that it is that type of "Independent Woman" thinking that has men completely fed up and discouraged when it comes to our gender. (I'm not saying we shouldn't be independent... just to a certain extent). If we are so busy bashing and subconsciously trying to eliminate men from our lives then what inspiration do they have to be the men we NEED them to be, and believe me when I say that we do need them. Men are the support to the balance of women. To go even further we put these thoughts into the minds of our children. Then our daughters become women who feel they don't want much less need a man, and our sons become men that feel as though they don't have to be men because women will always be "the Man". I will say that this cycle must break and that break starts with me and the values I instill in my sons.

Boy was this funny conversation enlightening, and I look forward to talking to this totally frickin radical friend again.

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

I Am Shibbon Winelle... ...

Hey Everyone! I am so excited! Why? because... I Am Shibbon Winelle lol. Ok, ok, I know you have no idea who that is. So, Please allow me to introduce myself. Shibbon Winelle is quite a character and even when my life is boring there is always something going on. This is my very first blog EVER! I was told to do this a long time ago but my rebellious nature refused to do so. Obviously, I probably should have done this a very long time ago but hey, I'm doing it now! lol I am a simply complex individual and it took me FOREVER to realize that. My interest are extremely diverse but I have a passion for Love & Life, Creativity & Beauty, as well as Business & Money. I didn't want to start this blog until I knew exactly what I wanted to share with my audience and what the end goal would be. Guess what! I finally know what I want to share and what the end goal is :)

Through this blog page I would like to share ME! YAYYYYY! lol. As you probably already realized I am absolutely goofy smh. Seriously though, I want to share Shibbon Winelle with the world. So just a short run down about Shibbon Winelle before I close out today. I am an eclectic, multicultural, young lady, mother, daughter, and sister that is passionate about life and love, and I love everything that life has to offer (good, bad, and indifferent). I love all things beautiful both inside and out, and everything creative to the smallest detail. I love all things Business and of course the largest perk that comes with that which would be... MONEY! So I ask with the utmost sincerity that you stay tuned.
